#TheGratitudeChallenge Half Way Point!

We are half way through #TheGratitudeChallenge and I'm still super stoked on it. I struggle with social media sometimes, knowing that it is highly valuable and at the same time can be really destructive but this experience has shed a new light on it for me. For the first time, I'm feeling really inspired to post, for one because the challenge is a guide for creating content but also it doesn't feel as intimidating as it has in the past. Snapping photos everyday in different locations, excites my IG, my practice and my heart.

And it's aptly named, "A Challenge" since many of these poses are 1. poses that I often choose not to practice or teach and 2. are poses that I am not yet capable of achieving so I'm having to approach my practice and teaching with a fresh perspective which of course always yields positive results even if I struggle in the moment. I actually taught Ustrasana (Camel Pose) in my Vinyasa class last Friday in honor of the day's post and I hardly ever feel brave enough to teach that pose for some reason. Thank you #TheGratitudeChallenge

Another aspect that I am really enjoying is the instant community I've connected myself into by participating. It's so fun and amazing to see hundreds or maybe thousands of people from all over the world at all different levels of practice with smiles on their faces detailing the vastness of their gratitude. It just feels good and I'm so proud of everyone!

That's all for now...stay tuned for more updates! And check out my instagram for the daily post!
