Save One Piglet, Save the World

I'm all about the feel good posts lately. Today, I sat down to write without a concrete idea or intuition for what to put down. Scanning around Facebook for an inspiring article or guidance from Spirit, I came across the reminder from Woodstock Farm Sanctuary. (Please Like the page!!)

Yesterday I had watched a video of their newest family member, Lexi, the piglet. She was rescued by a culinary student turned activist who had been working on a farm to learn about slaughter, and meat preparation. As the kind hearted and compassionate go, he couldn't stomach the suffering and begged the farmer to give up the runt of the litter. One life saved is better than no lives saved! Save one piglet, save the world!

Today I couldn't turn away from the simple question, "Can you give in honor of Lexi...?" Why, yes indeed I can! And I will! And I must! So I did.
